GAP Rail Recycling was founded by Giles Reynolds with the vision of providing specialist rail and associate hardware recovery and waste services to Australia’s rail, heavy industry, waste, mining and blue-chip construction companies.

With a background in Environmental Health and Safety Management for ASX listed companies and companies throughout Europe, Giles Reynolds is a degree qualified management professional with 30 years of executive management and operational experience.  Giles holds post graduate qualifications in operational management and engineering, as well as certification in environmental management systems, welding and mechanics.  He has over 20 years managing operations and recycling facilities all over the world.

GAP has entered into partnerships with specialist rail consultants with over 30 years of heavy industrial and rail experience, providing the appropriate access to rail corridor specific personal and machinery.

​

Through a recent JV, GAP acquired key personnel securing the expansion of GAP’s operation further into the waste management sector. The synergies between waste management and GAP’s principle operation provided an obvious expansion path while minimising duplication.

With the addition of 25 years’ experience in the waste industry, backed by a strong foundation in project management GAP has expanded its service offering to include the following waste streams:
